CPHDA conducted an evaluation based on qualitative information collected through focus group discussions (FGDs) and/or interviews with 10 NGO partners in 6 communities where the program was implemented. Generally speaking, the promotion of community-based approaches has proven effective in engaging different stakeholders in a dialogue process aimed at unveiling the drivers of VE and understanding how to prevent them. The NGO partners expressed great satisfaction with the program which appears to have succeeded in (i) increasing the engagement of various stakeholders and (ii) strengthening the capacities of local NGO partners to launch dialogue initiatives within their communities and implement activities focused on gender-based violence.
