In West and Central Africa, CPHDA works in the field of environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, the fight against deforestation, the governance of natural resources, the promotion of Nature-Based Climate Solutions ( SCFN) and environmental peace. Historically marginalized communities often face the most serious risks, which is why our work focuses on their needs and perspectives. Through research, program innovation, and policy advocacy, we work alongside local partners to find ways to move forward together. CPHDA has worked for many years on issues of adaptation and mitigation of climate change. We apply evidence-based research and engage the private sector in our work to create sustainability and increase impact .
