Community training for the USAID /Keneya Nyeta Project took place from 06/19 to 06/23/2023 and from 07/18 to 07/29/2023 in the circles of Ségou, Bla, San, Niono, Markala, Koutiala , Macina, Niena, Kolondieba, Bougouni, Kadiolo, Kignan, Yanfolila, Sikasso and aimed to train 229 farmers on the technical routes of market gardening and the proper use of phytosanitary products and nursery installation techniques. These training courses initially made it possible to strengthen the beneficiaries’ capacities to set up nurseries. Farmers then benefited from the expertise of technical agents to strengthen their knowledge during field training supervised by MPC and CPHDA teams.

The objective of this training was to strengthen the capacities of the beneficiaries of the USAID/Keneya Nieta Project on the technical routes of market gardening, the proper use of phytosanitary products and the techniques for setting up nurseries for the creation of community gardens which would allow ultimately support community platforms and Caisses Villageoises de Solidarités Sante (CVSS).
