The CPHDA carried out a study in 3 towns in northern Côte d’Ivoire: Tengrela, Khorogo and Ouangolodougou. This data collection included 9 focus groups of young people, women and men, including 3 per region, and approximately 50 key informant interviews (KII). The objective of the study was to assess the role of young people, women and men in the prevention and/or fight against violent extremism (P/CVE), to validate existing knowledge on the factors of violent extremism, and to ask target groups to make recommendations aimed at local actions for peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Finally, the objective was to understand the aspirations and expectations of the populations regarding the future of their region.
